Rome and Germany
A few days in Rome and a few days in Germany. Business
punctuated with pleasure. I had a fabulous time walking
around and watching Rome as well as a superb weekend in
Germany with my buddy Christoph. I hope you enjoy the
photos I got. You can find them here.

Outer Banks with the family
2008-11-01 -at- 15:31 Filed in: Personal
October 2008, and we’re off to the North Carolina Outer
Banks with Ken’s family for a few days. Although the
weather was a bit breezy and chilly, it was mostly
sunny and entirely enjoyable.
The photo gallery of the trip can be found here.

Ken

Crete, Amsterdam, and London
Sorry it’s been so long since my last update here. I’ve
been remiss, for all sorts of reasons, but no more.
Here’s a gallery from a recent
business trip to the Greek isle of Crete,
Amsterdam, and London. Hope you enjoy it.

Denver area weekend trip

Just got back from a fun weekend in the Denver,
Colorado area. The weather was postcard perfect all
weekend, so I was able to grab a few nice shots.
You can find the album (generated using Jalbum, of course) right here.

Kaua`i, Hawai`i vacation

We've just arrived in Po`ipu Beach, Kaua`i for our
every-other-year 2-week vacation in paradise. Ok, I've
started the gallery, but understand it's still very
much a work-in-progress. I hope to be able to put a few
new photos up each day, more or less, so check back
frequently.
Kaua`i 2008 gallery is here.

I'm off to Kyoto, Japan for a few days of business,
just before heading out for two glorious weeks in
Kaua'i. But, I did manage to hit Kyoto at the peak of
their cherry blossom season. Check out the photos
here.

Belgium - Leuven, Bastogne, and Achouffe
Back in Leuven, Belgium again for another great
SecAppDev class. This year, we
had some extra time, so I finally got to see the
battleground museum at Bastogne as well as the
Achouffe brewery. Oh, and I spent a couple hours
doing some gargoyle shooting.
I'm also trying out a new photo gallery "skin" on this one. I hope you all like it.
You can find the gallery here. Just hover your mouse over each photo to see my commentary (if you care to ).

Prague, Czech Republic

I was in Prague for a few days on business. I took my
small camera with me because I had to fly through
London Heathrow, and they're even more rigid on their
carry-on policy than our own TSA.
Still, I had a nice Sunday afternoon in Prague to walk around and see the old city. The weather was overcast, but largely dry, at least. Prague is a fabulously beautiful old European city that was largely unharmed during the second world war, so much of the old architecture is still present in all its glory.
Here's a quick sampling of what the city is like. I hope to get back there with my DSLR and get some sunny pictures -- including some of the magnificent gargoyles on the cathedral by the palace.
